Practice

As you know by now I am getting ready to become a full-fledged financial counselor. I need your help though. For the next month I will be offering my services for free to anyone who would be willing to write me a short testimonial for my website. That will hopefully be up in the next month. I need the practice anyway and I figured this would be the perfect way to do it. No matter how big or small your problems may be, I'm up for the challenge. If you need help making a plan and sticking to it, then I'm your gal. Even if you are on the right track, I'm confident that I could help you fine-tune to make the most out of your situation. Sharing My Passion

My name is Rachel. I have been married for 14 years and am the mother of 4 children. I admit that I have always been a geek when it comes to money (just ask my husband). As a teenager I loved to balance my checkbook and plan out what to do with my money. Unfortunately, I married into the student loan debt my husband was carrying. Then came the car loan we got when our first daughter was born. I got to the point that I was tired of being broke every month after the bills were paid. So we began our journey to become debt free. My husband initially thought I was crazy, but soon saw the things that were happening and jumped on board. After a very long, nearly 2 1/2 years and some setbacks, in December 2009 we achieved that goal!

Now I have embarked on a new journey as a financial coach to share my passion and knowledge to help those in need succeed with their money. In reading this blog may you find hope and inspiration to change your financial destiny! Change is difficult but worth paying the price to have peace in your life.

What is Financial Coaching? Is it right for you?

There are many levels of gaining financial information from reading a book from the library to taking a class. Financial coaching is the most hands-on, comprehensive and detailed approach out there. I will help you develop a plan tailored to your financial situation. You may be facing bankruptcy, foreclosure or harassing creditors and don't know where to turn. Or maybe you need help with a plan to be more efficient in building wealth or just have general questions about money management. You decide the level of service that you need and if financial counseling is right for you.
